Upper Arkansas River (between Leadville and Buena Vista) -
Flows out of Twin Lakes have been cut to 242 cfs which has the river at ideal flows for the wade/walk fisherman from top to bottom. Still having strong stonefly, yellow sally, and caddis hatches. There is also a PMD presence and look for drakes in the Meadows. Stimis, PMX, Caddis, and Yellow Sally patterns on top, with Prince, Yellow Sally nymphs, Hare’s Ears, PMD emergers, or Caddis emergers for droppers. The dry flyin’ on the Ark right now is hot – drop what you’re doing and get out there!
Upper Eagle River –
